Cares

by Alexis   Sep 2, 2005

People will always talk, Human nature will lie.
Friends might change and you might cry.
Your heart might get broken, Words might go unspoken
Your dad might hit, your mom might yell,
Your Brother might smoke and you might fail.
You might be at the end of your rope,
The gun might be in your hand,
The pills might almost be down your throat,
But first let me tell you about this man.
He's the one who cares.
He's the one who knows all the troubles your heart bears.
He's the Friend that wont stab,
He has a place for you in his lap.
So, when you're tired of all the pain,
Go ahead and call on his name
'cause he reacause does cares
Why else would he have sent his Son to die here...?
