Watch myself

by Cara   Sep 2, 2005

I see a young girl and I'm sure you would agree
I watch and remind myself of me
No one accepts her for who she is
She can capture many hearts but never his
She feels pain and cries at night
But puts on a smile and pretends it's alright
She hates the past but misses it so bad
She misses the things she never had
People watch the beautiful tragedy that falls upon this girl
But do they really see the darkness that surrounds her whole world?
They think they get her but how can they when she doesn't understand herself
Even her own mind tells her she needs to find help
The brutal lies and battle cries that drag along the tears
Only creates more room for the pain to inherit fears
Walking away from what she knew was right
To feel the high and see the fright
The nightmares find a way to taunt her heart
To bleed rip and tear apart
She writes and sings about death as she waits for the day
Where she can speak her mind and finally say
She really did love you but you never loved back
You're the reason she will die and why her world is so black
So now she says goodbye to this world full of hate
You nor I can save her its begun to be to late
