Drifting about

by cody   Sep 3, 2005

As you flot down the road you once knew and loved.
Now filled with toucher, blood, and bodies all around you.
You lie there too hungry to go on.
Dieing of thirst and slowly withering away.
Hoping some one will find you,
wishing some one will save you.
But nobody comes and nobody cares.
As you drift in the bloody, dirty water,
you close your eyes.
hearing gun shoots all around you,
and people screaming because they have no place to go.
You also hear people fighting for scraps,
and what ever is left in this dirty run down city.
Listening to defenseless girls beeing raped and beat up
but theres nothing you can do.
Eventually your sucked under the water.
but your to tired, to soar to care.
And you slowly sink lower and lower,
and slowly fade away out of existence.

Good work...I like the ending the most...you sure have a way of writing death...

"As you walk down the road you ones knew and loved." - *once (knew and loved)

"Now filled with toucher, blood, and body's all around you." - *bodies

"You lie there to hungry to go on." -
    *too (hungry...)

"Dieing of thist and slowly withering away." -
    *thirst

    Keep writing :)
