Family Is All I Need

by Laura   Sep 6, 2005

Family should always be close by your side
That is the company I would choose if I had only hours until I died
All my life I should have chose to surround myself with those who have shown they loved me unconditionally
For those are the ones who have proved their undying loyalty

Even when you are on the street you should not put friends before family
The only place that will lead you to is another casualty
When you are young this concept can be hard to understand
Only worried about being excepted by peers and wearing all name brands

But there are too many unwritten rules and it is easy to run into a technicality
Status starts becoming meaningless as we change our perceptions of reality
Spending more time with family I realize there is nowhere else I would rather be
For family is all that I need to be truly happy.
