Choices That We Make

by Bill Turner   Sep 7, 2005

Life is about choices
The decisions that we make
Some drive Rolls Royce's
Some live in a van by the lake

How did they get that way?
We may never know
Either could be you one day
Depending on the road you go

Which is the better man?
Money doesn't say it all
Which is the better man?
The one whose heart isn't small

Riches have nothing to do with right
Poor has nothing to do with good
Each and every night
People make the right choice in the hood

They don't get the press
No one seems to care
Criminals get the press
TV monkeys sit and stare

Do the right thing
Because it is the right thing to do
Do not fall for the bling
It is up to you

Draw your line in the sand
Make the choice
Make your stand
Even if you don't have a Rolls Royce
