I'll write you a book
Using only old English
And my fountain pen

I walk up your stairs

You sit up next to me

We sit there in silence
Looking out the window
Peering at your neighbors

I lean over to say...
You stop me short
And tell me that you love me

I look in your eyes
To see if it's true
You smile softly and nod

We lean into kiss
Your sister walks in and smiles
And slowly backs out

Our lips meet
And make a noise
Breaking the silence

Now we lay on the grass
By the city cemetery
Gazing at the stars

Wishing this night will never end
We both look at each other
We fall asleep I holding you

Wake the next morning
I climb over you
And kiss you through the mist

We spend the day there
Throwing rocks into the stream
Our parents don't know our location

We go home
From the best two days
Of our entire lives

We talk in the hallway
And kiss after lunch
We'll never forget our love
