One Pill Makes You Small

by Bill Turner   Sep 14, 2005

One pill makes you small
At least that is what they say
Another makes you tall
It all sounds so cliche

What if the pills do not do a thing?
It could all be in your mind
How do you find the phone when you hear a ring?
Even if you lose your sight and are blind

Alice went down a rabbit hole
At least that is how the story reads
We may never know her goal
Or what life Alice leads

Was it all a giant metaphor?
The Mad Hatter seemed okay
Did she journey to the earth's core?
Another game for them to play

Alice made it back to what was real
Or so the story goes
We may never know what to feel
Or what the white rabbit chose
