    WOW....*catches breath* Sorry about that.
Where do I start on such a poem? Firstly, I liked how you capitalised the significant words, it really emphasised the meaning and purpose. I had to read the lines repeatedly simply because the words are so precisely placed, this was the only way to get everything out of them.
It shines with originality from every single letter. The thought behind it and the use of deep images was astounding. The final couplet was my favourite part overall.
    I'm just speechless (well almost).
I usually read several of a poet’s work before adding them to my favourites, but in this case, you're already there!

Thanks for the lovely comment on my poem, I appreciate it and am somewhat flattered.

  • Nicely written a lot of really good wording.
Thanks for your comments. I appreciate them.

    This was great

And time betrays the man who loves,
And love betrays the man who trusts.

For he who loves is doomed to cry, in pain,
And he who cries has loved too much, in vain.

This again, HansRik, truly wonderful. Realistically, I agree with you and what you mean by most of your emotions towards how love can be and how its outcomes are awfully surprising at times. Once again, great writing and keep it up!

    Much love and God bless,
