Shouldn't dare

by Bradley Peter   Sep 17, 2005

I saw a boy on the train
who's face was very fair
this Boy's face knew no pain
and so it shouldn't dare

a woman laid in the sun
without a single care
such beauty should know only fun
and so she should dare

a man beat upon a slave
the slave's back was bare
who now may end in a grave
and so the man shouldn't dare

love knows no bounds
but true love is so rare
love doesn't deal in pounds
and so it shouldn't dare

From the lover to the loved
    by Bradley Peter

    Every morning i wake
your the first on my mind
I'd swim under a frozen lake
if it was you that I'd find

you mean more that you'll ever know
    it's much more than love
your and angel in the snow
and the whitest of a dove

    when your not near
    i can hardly breathe
and i am filled with the fear
    that soon you will leave

I'm more in love than ever
than i ever have been before
but it all depends on whether
you'll let me love you more

my favourite love poem ive read in a long time
im not a great fan of love poems cause mostly they just ramble on about crap but this blew me away.
