I've been sitting here all day
with this pencil in my hand
trying to think of the right words to say
to help you understand

its hard to get the words across
but I'll do my best
because without you I'm lost
my heart is hard to express

i don't think words can explain
the feelings in my heart
and i can almost go insane
when we're too far apart

so I've been sitting on this floor
waiting for the perfect words to come
so i sit here some more
like when I'm with you, my body's numb

i wish for a moment my words could
explain what you've done to me
and if these words would
then finally you could see

no words can be said
my feelings can only be shown
so from now to the day we wed
I'm yours to own

You captured and bird in you palm
and it was lead by temptation
usually this bird would cause alarm
but it knew you were an angels creation
in your possession it stayed calm
there was a beautiful communication
it feel under the spell of your charm
and i feel in the same rotation

It was a summers day with a cool breeze
and you shined from head to toe
and we climbed to the top of the trees
so we could see the views below
with every moment i had to cease
and so i had to let you know
that to my heart you held the keys
and my feelings began to show

you said it hit you out of the blue
and you wasn't sure what to say
but in the back of your mind you always knew
and so you said you felt the same way
was i dreaming or was this true
either way i wanted it to stay
then i did what i had to do
i was nervous, but i kissed you anyway
