Everything/Nothing

In his room,
He sat with her.
She was never alone,
Never unsure.

He held her close
In his arms.
He loved her dearly,
Protected her from harm.

He was her world,
Her everything.
Only happiness,
Was there to bring.

When he left
To be with someone new,
She knew in her heart,
There was nothing she could do.

When she stayed in her room,
She was there by herself.
He was gone,
Enjoying himself.

She got used
To the cold.
& with no love,
She grew old.

My question for you is this:
What to do you do,
When your EVERYTHING
Becomes your NOTHING?
