Lesson Learned

You laugh at the words, but it's so true,
I almost feel sorry for what I'm gonna do.
Every word you say is all so far from the truth,
You've done a full circle and come back to you.
No fool would swallow a pony from the large end first,
So spare me the excuses and tell me you're hers,
Strap on some balls and tell me you're hers.
If I scare you to death, then lesson learned,
Maybe you forgot; I don't miss you when you're gone,
Now everything that goes is just going wrong,
This cliche's so tasteful, so play that sad song,
On the edge of the city, you're barely hanging on.
So typically diverse, controversial are we now?
Like a rough diamond, it's clear what you're about.
Acting so smug, behind a shade of doubt,
Tried to forgive myself for caring, tell me how.
Apologized to myself enough for your mistakes,
You'd planned on lying and enjoyed the taste,
So much to live for and so much to waste,
You'll spit on my grave with nothing to face.
But bet your last penny, you'll be there before me,
This skyline's so pretty, but you won't get to see,
It's so simple that it's complicated, it's all for keeps,
These days are beginning and don't end for weeks,
You're choking on the lies, before you even speak,
No rest for the wicked, no rest for the weak,
Vanity's your prize, but you're blind to yourself,
The fault is your own, but you blame someone else,
On the edge of your fate and you're blaming myself,
Well I'd be quite happy to take you to the top,
Of this 20 story building, I'll push you right off,
I'll run down the stairs, just to watch you drop,
See you hit the ground and smile as you're squashed.
Don't question my motive, my alibi's claimed,
And your face turns pale, as the tables have changed,
Count your f u cking blessings, one of us is the same,
I've never had the guts to dig out your grave,
But careful, because this time, I might just be brave.
