If I had known that the first time that I looked into your eyes our souls would make a connection and our hearts would be Joined together as one, I would have looked much sooner to have the emptiness inside of me filled with the love you have given to me in just those first few minutes it takes most people a lifetime to know that kind of love |

You need to improve your grammer, fixing it up would really make this poem more effective. However I can see the idea you are trying to convey, I like you choice of words too they are really well-suited.
