In The Tears I Cry

To me, you were a godsent
Rescue me from drowning tears
So, I could open my eyes again
Not be afraid of what could be

You made me feel important
Like I could be a good friend
Help me work through my heartbreak
For once, i could truly smile

But like always, they are memories
Times occured in the past
Obviously now you know
Our friendship did not last

To tell you that it kills me
Would be less than the actual truth
Curious to know, what went wrong
I seem to always lose those close to me

To me now, you are a stranger
Someone I just don\'t know
How did you go from a beautiful person
To a human hard to know

I feel, you started to turn away
You were as best as friends could be
To know I lost you to another \"friend\"
Hurts me to the end

Friends in a three cannot work
As one always gets left behind
Its not a pleasent feeling
To have, hammering away inside

You made me feel good about myself
You let me know you cared
What we had between us
Can you tell me it was real?

You meant everything to me
But I dont think you knew how much
If you\'re so tight with my other \"friend\"
Really, what was I to you?

I was the one you trusted most
Or so you said to me
Why is it when you get some news
I\'m always the last to know

I try and I try and I try
For us to be friends again
One thing, though, is certain
It\'s up to you in the end

While you make up your mind
I shall drown, in the tears i cry
