The poem for the poets

by Bradley Peter   Sep 27, 2005

Take that pen at your finger tips
and write something from the heart
say the words from your lips
and then begin to start

write about loss, write about love
write what lies within your head
write about below, write about above
or write about none of these instead

feel what burns inside
whatever that may be
drop all that pride
set your feelings free

if all you feel are thoughts of death
then let your thoughts be heard
take a seat and take a breath
and release every word

use your life as an aid
if your mind runs unclear
if you wished that they'd stayed
write the pain behind the tear

just throw away your armour
forget about the fight
writing will make you calmer
so switch on that light

    Brilliant stunning poet,
    Right with every word,
And although he may not know it,
    Dark words are always heard,
    Light is seen too,
    Every letter distorted and shamed,
    Your words speak to me,

    Partly cause I'm maimed,
    Everything has possibilities,
    Today, tomorrow, Tonight,
    Enriched with responsibilities,
    Rock on my steady friend.

Sorry if that doesnt make sense lmao
