From the other side,

The trees along the river's edge
look like wading women
lifting their earthy skirts
to dangle bare roots
in the passing waters,
beautiful limbs outstretched,
basking in amber sunlight.

From the other side is great. I can almost see as if I am sitting on the edge of the river sort of in a dreamy state. The trees would look like wading women and lifting their earthly skirts to dangle bare roots. Almost as if they are walking and human arms stretching out to turn into branches basking in the sun. Wow! The beauty of a serene moment that you have captured. Take care, Elizabeth
