I'm free

by Silver Wings   Sep 30, 2005

A sweet sensation flows through my every vein
as it washes out my grieving pain

i savor the cold blade as it slides across my wrists
i slowly walk to the bathroom with cliched fists

shivering as the blood runs down my pale skin
know that I will be free from my every sin

i close the door and turn the lock
hurt that i will be forgot

i slide down into my watery grave
to erase the love that I crave

And i slowly drift away
knowing that i can finally say

I'm free
