Bleeding Heart

by JJ   Oct 1, 2005

Consuming thoughts
haunt my dreams
problems that don't belong
burden this life,
weighing me down

frustration builds
guilt overwhelms
rushing through my heart
tearing at my soul

how can I deny blood of mine
when through blinded eyes
they see me as an angel
in disguise. if only the knew
I'm human too

Its so hard for me to realize
that my life is not my own

even if it kills me,
I must be brave and carry on
for they depend on me
to keep them strong

*a heart can only can take so much and I wish mine was stronger than this

JJ, awesome write...you are stronger than you think. You never get more than you can handle, it is just sometimes it doesn't feel that way. Hang in there.
