It's My Fault

It begins again and I take it for the worse
I try to smile, but I can't with this curse
I laid upon myself, the day I let you die
All I can do now, is sit around and lie
my smiles are fake, a mystery of myself
Nothing but a shallow heart, inside an empty shell
It's all I've grown to be and no seems to know it
You couldn't even imagine how much I hurt due to this
I lie and say I'm happy, when truth is I'm really dead
Because of memories of me and you, things left unsaid
Its too late to change my ways, though I really don't care
you're gone and thats for sure, my life is going nowheres
Even though its in the past, my memories oh so clear
your smile, your touch, your heart, and the times that you were near
I made a mistake and theres no way to turn back time
I know Ill kill myself, to bond together your heart and mines
It's a horrid thought of course, but what can I say
It's my fault that this happened, its my fault things are this way.
