Bitter-Sweet Memories...

Tears stream down my face
As the bitter sweet memories come back to this place
Where we use to stay up all night on the hood of your car
Holding each other so close, while looking up at the stars
The very place we had our first kiss and made love
Underneath the heavens, with the summer moon shinning from above
Wishing all the times we spent together would never have to end
For love took over and changed us to more than just simple friends
Bitter sweet memories flooded throughout the summer nights
As we held onto each other oh so tight
Unlike the leaves that have fallen and the color turned to a different shade
The love we shared for each other will never fade
Summer started to end, and the bitter truth we had to face
Where you my love had to leave from this place
And for the last time, we stood holding each other
Not wanting to part from one another
We begin saying the long hard goodbyes, underneath the stars
As the tears soaked my face, as I watched you leave in your car
Never wanting to face my worse fears, of leaving you
Iâ??ll await the day when we come back to this place once again, just us two
Until then, Iâ??ll come back to this place just to remember the taste
Of your kiss upon my lips and smile on your face
For tears run down my face, as I sit underneath the stars
