Sparky puppy

You are my sweetest puppy
with the softest fur
your a great cuddle puppy
Sometimes, you even purr

I find it funny
when you sleep on your back
your paws in the air
your tail hits the floor "whack!"

You bat up at me
with those white, fluffy paws
whining and grinning
I really need to trim those claws

You are a polar bear in the winter
a Terrier in summer and spring
Loving the winter snow
but hating rain of spring

Your my puppy, Sparky
and you always will be
I love you so much
Even when you are barking.

    I must say, what a good and enjoyable read this was! Very well written, with funny allusions, and wording. Excellent. Punctuation is not very effectively used, but the poem flows well. Nice poem.
