You Were Wrong

In three long years
So many tears
For alone was what I felt
No true friends I was dealt
On a rare occasion did we meet
You taped together my feet
It's true, I thought you were weird
But you turned out funny, kind and dear
Together we spent so much time
We talked about guys, especially ones that were fine
We went to movies, parties and sports
And anything of the sort
Then finally I met a guy
I actually wasn't shy
But you said, for me, he was wrong
Then he even sang me a song
You told me to choose either him or you
Through my head these words flew
I couldn't imagine how you could act so mean
This I had never seen
I thought what you did was wrong and it's true
I chose him over you
