The Message

by Daniel Solomon   Oct 6, 2005

The color bleeds through and then it smears.
This message is illegible and it cannot be read.
The ink continues to drip just like a tear.
It's useless to read when the paper is red.
The paper is saturated and itâ??s heavy to lift.
Pensive thoughts literally jump off the page.
Torn away from the notebook with a motion that's swift.
Your eyes watch as the message gradually begins to fade.
You continue to look for something that cannot be seen.
It can only be understood by absorbing it without this poem here.
If you find the meaning it is best understood without the ink.
The message bleeds through and then it smears.
