Untitled (for now)

by Eric McGlaughlin   Oct 9, 2005

He turns cold,
You've done it once more.
His eyes look down,
Once again his heart tore.
He thought that he could trust you,
But it didn't seem to be.
Maybe you were like him too,
but he only saw what you wanted him to see.
The simple truth was you lied to him,
and he refused to believe.
The lights on the world growing dim,
So he sits and bleeds.
He tries to act happy,
but he doesn't know if it'll hold.
And again you fail to see it,
the same act is getting old.
But you saw into his life,
You think that you could see.
But the one thing you failed to realize...
Is that the boy, is me.
