Not until I met you
did I really see
just how truly happy
one person can be.
At first you were a friend
one of the closest that I had
settled me down if i was angry
made me happy when i was sad

And as we kept up talking
I liked you more and more
but even than i couldn't tell you
that it was you that i adore.

and how you really cared

and you listened as i shared

And now as I sit here
thinking about you

Not only are you everything
