And for You

by Aidyn   Oct 11, 2005

What is Sanity?

Is it something we hope for,
Blindly assure ourselves we have
Or is it something we gain?
Or is it something we lose?

Maybe it is all of these things
And maybe it isn't
We can't tell ourselves what we know
But we can be certain that others in our lives help us realize it.

Now, if you try to relate sanity, or the lack of it to friendship
You might not get too far
I'm personally running out of ideas in the subject and the question...
But that's not the point

To you, my friend, allow me to say
That healthy insanity and sanity alike
Is best when it takes place with someone
That you know is a true friend

Let me say I've never enjoyed it more

So to you, Krystle, I say
Thank you for being a voice of reason
And Thank you also
For allowing me to be a voice of reason

And always, here's to the loss of reason

Because it's always fun once in a while

Thank you.
