Uptown Girl

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Oct 12, 2005

2005.

As she walks by the pavement
With a peach cloak

The chirping birds
Sing to her the song of nature

With a captivating smile
She warms the heart of man

Ever resplendent
She is the epitome of beauty
Fit to be appreciated

In her quiet nature
She makes the flower blossom

The sparkle of the ruby ring
On her finger makes her virtuous

With an intimidating gait
She dances to the rustle of flowers

As the rays of sunlight
Shine on her brunette hair
She looks enchanting like a damsel in guise

Born of a woman
She is the uptown girl
