Behind Her All

by Krete   Oct 14, 2005

Behind Her,
Hidden on the inside,
between the mirror,
and the glass:

Stands the vision,
of the held low mask.

Something that,
she just wont recognize,
a tune barely heard,
the sound growing in size.

The fogged glass cover,
the truth behind it all,
her deep sound disdaining,
moving her arm to sprawl.

She reaches forward to erase,
what hot fog has covered.
To shun away her mirror,
and replace it with whats hovered.

Above her head,
the broken halo revolving,
ebbing back and forth,
now no more falling.

On the other side,
the first streak is swiped,
the war against herself,
is now in full sight.

Staring back and forth,
green eyes both glaring,
she sees the first glimpse,
of who is there standing.

A very interesting approach. I pictured a girl who loves to wear heavy makeup but one day just decides to take it all off and see who she truly is, and she was impressed. Loved it very much.
