WITHOUT YOU Parts I & II

by Gary Jurechka   Oct 14, 2005

(The Day Was Dark/[Lost Love Lament])

Black holes bleed tears
[This pain in my heart, it burns, it sears]
Who will tell the trees
[I need you, I'm down on my knees]
The wind has died
[I've lost count of the tears I've cried]
The sky has fallen
[Now I'm pleading, now I'm crawling]
And the gray clouds don't care
[For when you're gone, I'm lost somewhere]

(Note The lines with parantheses are supposed to be completely to the right, giving the form of the poem more seperation(barely overlapping), but for some reason this site doesn't allow one to do any spacing except straight left margin conformity, but anyway this piece can be read as two seperate poems or when read together form a single rhyming piece.Just something different)
