There he lies
All warped and twisted
A bloody figure
Inside his own hell
A penetrating gaze
Blazes through his eyes
As he turns his head
To look up at the sky
He mutters at the sun
Cursing all
That left him here
To die alone
And destroyed his life
They made him this nothing

"Just let me die"
He thinks
Wishing they could
Feel his pain
Knowing when he's gone
All will repent and cry
Faking the sorrow
Pretending to show love
That through his life
Was non-existent

He laughs at death
And all of them
As he closes his eyes
For the final time

And as he lays there
All warped and twisted
The hellish figure
Breathes on last breath
As he whispers his final words
"Maybe now they'll care."
