When we became no more

by Rajkamal   Oct 14, 2005

I remember that night, when we became no more.
It's clear as a crystal but painful like thorns.
You called me and asked me to come to your place.
So I got my keys and drove to your place.
I reached for your door and twisted the knob.
To my surprise the door was unlocked.
I went to your kitchen and everything seemed normal.
But as I walked into the hallway I felt a shiver.
I looked into your room, and saw nothing but darkness.
I reached to turn on the lights when something grabbed my hand.
I jumped at first, but I realized it was your hand.
When I heard you groan, I knew something was wrong.
All of a sudden you fell on top of me, and that scared me a lot.
I saw blood, and screamed in tears.
You looked up at me and told me you loved me.
I was reaching for the phone when you told me, share these last moments with me.
I cried in grieve, as you held me in your arms.
You kissed me on my lips and then you were gone.
