Dedication to forest hills school

This is the last time well ever walk these halls,
The tears are falling but its not our fault,
Nine years gone, Im not sure how,
I never thought Id have to face what Im feeling now,
Empty our lockers, for the last time,
Were leaving now,
But my heart stays behind,
I cant face it, but I know its the truth,
It feels like we just got here, now were leaving so soon,
Ill never forget this place, I cant wipe the tears from my eye,
Its time to leave but I cant say goodbye,
Everyones had to go, but I bet it wasnt easy,
No one could ever imagine what this school means to me,
Its all changed, but it still feels like home,
This school is amazing, I never felt alone,
1997, it feels like just yesterday,
We grew up here, now its time to give it all away,
Good bye and good luck, from the class of 2006,
Before I finish Id just like to say this:
Hold memories close, and treasure every minute,
Because your time at FHS could be gone in an instant.
