Little did he know

This is more of a story but it means alot to me since....well read it and you\'ll understand

The little boy walked down the cold dark road, trying to hide his tears my keeping his head down. "There is no where left for us, Im sorry." he whispered feeling the cold blood leak from the cut on his head where his father had hit him. Besides him a little girl barely 4 years old, unhurt but still tears streamed from her eyes. She couldnt go on she told her older brother. He picked her up and limped his way further into the darkness. \"Theres no where for us now, no one loves us.\" he wimpered the pain in his legs killed him but he kept going on. There was no turning back to the screams behind them. He quickly put down his sister and puked out blood. The bitter taste stayed in his tounge as he tryed to spit all the fluid out. The pain was too much for the 8 year old boy and his little sister. His father hated him, beat him and raped him. He told his mother but she yelled at him and called him a lier then beat him as well. This day he stopped his father from getting at his sister for this he got beat beyond healing. He pulled him self up and sat his sister on a bench. He covered her up with the jacket he was wearing. \"I wont let any one hurt you, I promise\" he told her before drifting off to sleep. Little did he know that was a promise he could never keep............
