Sweet remembrance
of the past
painful memories
I hoped won't last.

The harder I try to forget
the more I remember being with you.
The times I tried to be happy
but instead was saddened by the things you do.

So many times I forgave
trying to understand the reason for this pain
but each time you done it over
and I knew you'd always be the same.

For every tear I cried for you
was like rain falling from the sky.
It sometimes went on for hours
the worst was on the day I said goodbye.

If it's true about everyone having a soul mate
I wonder if you had been "the one"
because without you I feel empty
to the point where my life feels truly done.

I feel so weak
in this heart of mine.
I don't know whether I should go on
because at the moment I feel like dieing.

I hurt so badly inside
I hope one day I can forget.
I'll never understand why I loved you
because all you did was make me feel like sh!t.
