A Crimson Farewell

by DMG   Oct 18, 2005

Hello to whom I haven't missed,
The cold lips which I once kissed.
Again you have returned to me,
Are you pleased with what you see?
The crimson tide has pulled me down.
Will you save me or shall I drown?
Or have you aided with this sea?
In which I sink so endlessly.
The red water fills my eyes
As my soul drifts in cloudy skies.
I give thanks to that crimson kiss
From whom has set me free from this
So goodbye all, farewell, goodnight,
At least my wrongs have been made right.
