You're Scared

by Tricia   Oct 18, 2005

Every time I turn around,
I see your face,
Even when you're not there.
I thought you cared,
But you were scared,
I wouldn't have hurt you,
So you hurt me instead.
My feelings for you are not subsiding,
So why do you insist on hiding?
You hide from love,
You hide from hate,
You hide from me,
But it's not too late.
You hide your feelings,
Keep everything inside,
You hide behind the blade of a knife.
I understood you,
You weren't alone.
You seemed scared,
So I was there.
You don't seem to see,
How much I care,
Oh only if that,
You weren't so scared.
