Time Truely Heals Wounds

Things are different now
and for this I am glad
cuz for every tear I cried
was because you made me sad.

No more tears will fall from these eyes
only silent words of goodbyes.
You are now taken out of this world of mine
never again will you waste my time.

I love being free to be who I am
away from any thoughts of you
because instead of worrying all the time
I can finally do the things I want to do.

No more hiding behind shame
wondering if I'd be me you blame
because you're the one that screwed up
by cheating on me with whats her name.

No more lies will my ears hear
no more living my life in this fear
no more wasting my time on you again
no more forgiving you for all your sin.

Moving on isn't as hard as I thought
all I needed was a little time.
Time has healed all my wounds
and now you're hardly ever on my mind.
