I promise I'll stop

by cowgirlstar26   Oct 23, 2005

I promise I'll stop,
Just don't leave me
don't walk away
I don't want to be free

I know I'm independant
and I've refused to bend
but without you,
for me it would be the end

I don't want to relive the mistakes I've made
cause when you came along
my life was saved

I promise, never again will I open these scars
I no it's stupid to keep doing myself harm....

this image of myself is cracked
and from all my mistakes there's no knowlege I lack

I've learned too much and I hate all of this
but If you walk away now, it's only you I'll miss

never again will I cut myself open
no matter what words to me are spoken

in spite of everything I still live on
because of you I have the strength to move on

so stay with me, please don't turn your back
because without you my world would be black

I really like how this piece is kinda of like crying out to others to just stay and be there for them. Excellent job!
