A cry for help...

When we were little...
we always understood each other...
we had a smile, a hug, a shoulder, or an ear...
to lend one another...
words of wisdom...
we exchanged together...
and promised each other...
we'll be friends forever...
as we got older...
we still called each other a friend...
but the inner meaning of my words...
she did not understand...
we told each other our stories...
and how we felt...
but one time i didn't say anything...
and that was my cry for help...
she couldn't understand that...
for her soul is now blind...
i helped her go on...
and she left me behind...
