Their love

by Shy   Oct 25, 2005

She followed him with all her heart,
He told her they were destined to part,
She did not care, nor was she discouraged,
He thought her insane, though his love for her still flourished.

She loved him with all she might,
He dreamt of her throughout the night,
She felt their love would last forever,
He knew their connection one could never sever.

She was driving, and it was pouring,
He called her cell, he just couldn't wait till morning,
She slammed on her brakes just a little too late,
He listens on the phone as all her bones brake,

She cain't feel a thing,
He sits by her side, heart throbbing in pain.
She smiles as she slowly dies,
From his eyes pour tears as he cries.
