Goodbye June

by Lalieth   Oct 25, 2005

Goodbye June,
I left your machine in the desert
Goodbye June
Can't go on like this forever

Precious wish, carried in silk embroidary
Yours are so pervasive
I brought all the favors I had signed
To the girl, from the farm
Yours are not like mine
Maybe, just a little more, keep it up

To feel it for you, to say goodbye

Goodbye June,
On the menu by the tea, you frown
Goodbye June,
Left your machine in the desert
Sure wish I had it back now

Behold the unraveling
Come in, on the radio, Saint Aldous
The pilgrims are all here
They say this was your idea
You stole my idea

I would freeze myself to orbit the centermost point
I would break my hands to crush
the rocks of the satellite
If I only could
If there were a way to, I would
Maybe tomorrow, beyond the solar light

Angel, don't you have a particle left?
Baby, don't you need the messege sent?
Darling, just for me, can't you save today?

In these dirges, can I weave the thought?
Where he said, I pushed you away
