It hurts me to see you sad
It hurts me when you're down
It hurts me to see you mad
So turn that frown upside down

It hurts me when I hurt you
The last thing I'd ever want to do
Is hurt the one I love, intentionally
How unloving would that be

The thing that breaks my heart
The thing that hurts me most
Is knowing that you don't know
How much I love you so
