The soulless man

by Bradley Peter   Oct 27, 2005

To get my soul back
I'd do many things
I'd stand on a corner
and sell all my rings

to get my soul back
I'd work on a farm
I'd even go as far
as to chop off my arm

to get my soul back
I'd take back my hate
and give out my love
and prey its too late

to get my soul back
I'd hold my breath until I'm blue
I'd suffocate my lungs
if that's what i had to do

to get my soul back
I'd take back all I've done
thinking i was tough
because i carried a gun

to get my soul back
I'd create new life
though it won't suffice
the fact i killed my wife

to get my soul back
there's nothing i wouldn't sell
my house, my car
anything, so i don't go to hell

to get my soul back
hope god can forgive and forget
because he knows deep inside
that i only feel regret
