Black to Blood

by Blaine   Oct 28, 2005

Lost in the horror of this relationship
the blackened eyes and the bloodied lips, I've locked out my friends and family so they don't see the shame I've felt

Ive begged and pleaded for you to stop I've cried for all the times that I've lost
Ive picked myself up every time we've fought yet my soul has abandoned this place i once sought

My mind and heart have gone separate ways, one telling me to run the other saying it still might change, I have to make a decision soon because one more time and I might lose

More than my heart and more than my mind, Its my life that might end up paying this time

Now, there are so many that can relate to this poem. It usually never change, it takes 2 higher powers to convert abuse, one is for the victim to get loose and the other is Christ teching then to be nice.
