Unnoticed (Lyrics)

by Christopher Liau   Oct 28, 2005

She walks past me everyday
Will she notice when I'm gone?
Notice when I've flown away,
Again I have withdrawn.

She doesn't even know,
My heart she came and stole,
Feelings I never show,
She burns right through my soul.

I can see your sorrow,
And I can see your passion,

This is the last time,
That I'm going to stand in the night,
This is the last time,
That I will see her eyes so bright.

I watch as she stands and waits,
Waits for that special someone,
Someone to be her soul mate,
Soul mates, there are none.

I can see your sorrow,
And I can see your passion,

This is the last time,
That I'm going to stand in the night,
This is the last time,
I'll get to see that beautiful sight.

Laying down on my back,
As I slip into the void,
Watch as my world turns black,
For now I am destroyed.

I can see your sorrow,
And I can see your passion,

This is the last time,
That I'm going to die in the night,
This is the last time,
That I'm going to take flight.

This is the last time,
You will find me awake,
This is the last time,
That my heart will break,

My heart, it breaks,
It breaks...

This poem... Its not like any of the others I've read on this site... It made me........ Think. All the other poems were simplistic and simple... And I realize, so are mine. Dude, you are my new poetry hero.
