Twists and turns

by Emily parsons   Oct 28, 2005

Can you see me empathise
Winding through the mist
Hoping my perception of you
Will divert with every twist

We begin our story here and now
Recollecting both our pasts
But knowing we are so mismatched
Left us ruptured from the start

Disconnected from every emotion
That neither of us displayed
All of those delicate hairs so strong
Now left bleeding and frayed

Like an angel you float across despondency
Letting every feeling pass
Avoiding each profound conversation
Tiptoeing over broken glass

Every dispute you breathe in life
Wont ever leave your side
Unless you face it fearless to none
And teach your heart to confide

No evil in this world
Should be faced all on your own
I promise i wont make you face
This ugly world alone

So can you see me empathise
Winding through the mist
Searching for the steps to your heart
Stumbling at every twist

This one is quite delicate in itself
it's givng off like some sort of tension like when you are trying to tiptoe around it's silent && tension grows
like the use of words `despondency` ooo lol
