A Mistake

by Dark   Oct 30, 2005

Staring in the mirror, recalling his worthless life
giving up all hope he had, seeking freedom through a knife
suicide was on the mind, hesitating on whether to cut
remember every little problem, realized enough was enough.
He posed his life away, saw there was nothing left
Never thought he'd see himself, as a suicidal death.
before he cuts he dreams, of a life so cold and bliss
he opens his eyes and smiles, awaiting the devils kiss.
he questioned what had happened, why did he always lie
What was so bad about life, that made him wanna die
He grabs the knife and thinks, sees a second chance to take
But he turned to suicide, and that was his mistake
If he only knew someone cared, he never would have died.
He would have taken a second chance, instead of suicide.

Yeah. I truly dont believe in suicide. It really would be a tragic mistake. when life gets us down, a beam of light will always shine someday and put a smile to our face. That beam of light, that one single ray is what i live for. Good job on this poem:) could you read mine called, "innocence" if u have spare time sometime?
