Need To Be In Your Embraces

I try to not look hurt by your words,
when you talk about the both of you.
Everyone says you're perfect together,
and I pretend I think that too.

Did you know I have a good memory?
I remember everything you say
everything we've laughed about
down to the time and the day.

She was unable to make it,

I put on my best shoes,

2 hours in front of the mirror,

I chose a dark blue dress,

I have to admit i looked great,
