Frozen

by shadowlight   Oct 31, 2005

Like a white-hot point it hits me,
It burns as it breaks my skin,
The heat spreads out wards,
I am burning deep within,
A crimson river leaves me,
My breath is short and tight,
The river moves up my throat,
And spills out of my mouth,
The burnings getting stronger,
It drains me of my life,
A shining crimson river,
taking away my strenth,
i feel my life ebbing,
Involuntary shudders consume me,
I shiver despite the heat,
The burning in my chest,
engulths me,
Vision is blurred,
Coldness replaces the heat,
I freeze within,
Darkness envelops me,
As I slip from this world,
Frozen deep within.

Wow, you just never fails to amaze me. I'm deeply addicted to your poems. I love the words you used to describe the emotions. Your poems are pretty much to the dark side, at least to me, and I really like it alot.
