Arms of the Angels

by Crystal   Nov 2, 2005

In the arms of the angels,
They take you away,
They welcome you to your new home,
They welcome you to stay.

You get your wings and that halo above your head,
A white suit and a cloud to call your bed.

From heaven you watch over,
From heaven you still live.

For i believe no-one truly dies,
For everyone grows wings and learns to fly.

You became our angel,
Watching over the world, over the ones you love.

You live on up in the sky,
You live on in the all our hearts,
Even after you die.

*Dedicated to my late uncle who passed away 1st of April of this year....*

Hey, I absolutely loved that poem..

You get your wings and that halo above your head,
A white suit and a cloud to call your bed.
Those are my favourite 2 lines because they just seem to personify exactly what you and I want to believe.
    Good effort Crystal..
